Mui Studios

Scope of work: A poetry tribute from the creation design of Muy’s Studio to the born free movement of Africa.

Challenges: South Africa’s “born-free” generation is a a growing population of South African youth born into a free and racially undivided South Africa. Commonly referred to as “born frees,” South African youth born after the fall of apartheid make up almost 40 percent of the population. Muy Studios wanted to pay homage to the the idea of born free and do so from the bay area. We worked with renowned poet Bamuthi to help give pace to the visuals that connect the bay area to africa through the spirit of born free.
