Shane's Barbershop

Scope of work: A short documentary highlighting the growing barber culture scene through the eyes of Shane’s Barbershop.

Challenges: This is not your ordinary barber. The industry has taken off in the United States and grown worldwide ushering in a new brand of young barbers in the age old art of the haircut. We wanted to give a more intimate look into the culture and so the idea was to go into Shane’s world and give a first hand experience. The goal was to connect with the next generation of barbers and with advice from the industry’s best.

Achievements: The initial video was well received from those in and out of the barber scene with over 100K views on youtube and also sparking off additional episodes in Spain, England, & Japan.
