Scope of work: A short documentary episode for “Take 5: A More Perfect Patriot” by Sundance Now. The series of short documentaries covers hot topic political issues in a boundary-pushing exploration of modern patriotism, starring Van Jones and Nate Boyer.

Challenges: The topic of Patriotism in America is a tough subject given today’s current political and social climate. Van Jones wanted to address at the heart of what it means to have a deeper sense of patriotism. With limited budget and time, we decided to venture cross country and meet with the people in the different communities to listen and learn about what patriotism means to them.

Achievements: The episode was used as a sizzle to launch the second television series for Sundance Now Original series. Presented at Sundance Film Festival along with featured directors panel. Streaming on Sundance Now. Also featured by Van Jones on his We Rise Tour with Roc Nation.
